September 16, 2010 FOR IMMEDIATE PRESS RELEASE: Cinetopia Theaters is proud to announce the opening of two new theaters in 2011.

Cinetopia Progress Ridge 14

The first theater will open in June of 2011 and will be located at the new Progress Ridge Town Center in Beaverton, Oregon. Cinetopia Progress Ridge 14 will feature the latest state of the art technology including digital projection, Dolby 3D Digital Cinema and the finest sound systems in the industry. “We are continuing our commitment to provide an unparalleled movie going experience by driving new innovative technologies and customer amenities. Our new Progress Ridge location will further raise the bar in theatrical exhibition” said Rudyard Coltman, President of Cinetopia LLC.

Cinetopia will feature three types of theater venues:
1) Grand Auditoriums with advanced stadium design, 24 inch wide ultra leather reclining seats, extra wide rows and screen sizes up to 70 feet;
2) Living Room Theaters with “skybox” seating, 26 inch ultra leather VIP seats with footrests, in theater restaurant food, beer and wine service, and live pre show entertainment; and
3) the Movie Parlor, Cinetopia’s newest theater venue offering unique luxury amenities and never before seen technologies.

Cinetopia will also feature a full service restaurant and wine bar with live music. Similar to the existing Cinetopia in Vancouver Washington, Cinetopia Progress Ridge 14 will feature an art gallery and many other unique entertainment venues. Ticket prices will be on par with other theaters in the area with matinee prices running as low as $8.50 and Grand Auditorium adult admission at $10.75. Cinetopia Progress Ridge 14 will also be the first theater in the Portland metropolitan area to offer Advanced Reserved Seating in all of its auditoriums.

 

Cinetopia Westfield Vancouver Mall 23

The second theater will [update: be opening soon] and will be located in the soon to be remodeled Westfield Vancouver Mall in Vancouver, Washington. “Westfield has an impeccable reputation for creating one of kind world class shopping destinations. Locating inside the Westfield Vancouver Mall was a natural choice as Cinetopia is a destination unto to itself attracting excited movie goers from all over the Northwest” said Rudyard Coltman, President of Cinetopia LLC.

Cinetopia Westfield Vancouver Mall 24, will feature all of the amenities found at Cinetopia Progress Ridge 14. In addition, this theater will include a collection of the largest screens in the Pacific NW including four Mega Grand Auditoriums with screen sizes ranging from 65 to 80 feet and occupancies as high as 500 patrons.

Cinetopia’s existing theater has seen a steady increase in attendance since it’s opening in 2005 with box office revenue up 60% in the first half of 2010 (over first half of 2009). Due to significant design and program enhancements, Cinetopia is confident that it’s new theaters will once again be hailed as the finest movie exhibition experience in the nation.
